Tranquil getaways
Terengganu is a jewel in the east coast with its beautiful and scenic beaches, turtle sanctuaries and good food.

Nasi Dagang
A typical breakfast in Terengganu consists of rice mixed with a little glutinous rice and fish gravy. The rice is traditionally packed into cylindrical shapes with banana leaves and the gravy served separately to ensure the rice is fresh the whole day.

Keropok Lekor
A tasty snack that is made fresh from fish and tapioca flour or sago flour. Keropok Lekor is a delicious teatime treat that is eaten either fried or boiled and then dipped in a sweet chilli dipping sauce called pencecah. It is mainly made in Kampung Losong, a little village within Kuala Terengganu.

Taman Kuang Ajil
The world’s most beautiful pheasants and peafowls are found in Taman Kuang Ajil. Although built as a sanctuary for birds, other animals are also housed in this park, which is home to numerous fruit trees as well. The park is located only 40km from Kuala Terengganu.
